Breast Reduction (Reduction Mammoplasty)

Breast Reduction, also known as Reduction Mammoplasty is a cosmetic and functional surgery aimed at reducing breast size by removing excess tissue, fat, and skin. This procedure not only improves breast symmetry and contour but also relieves physical discomfort, such as back, neck, and shoulder pain.

• Procedure: Performed under general anesthesia. Incisions are made (commonly around the areola and down the breast). Excess tissue, fat, and skin are removed. The nipple-areola complex is repositioned for improved contour. Incisions are closed with sutures.
• Recovery: Typically involves a 1-2 day hospital stay, followed by several weeks of recovery with supportive garments.
